I checked the Apple Store, Best Buy and RadioShack, and none of them have anything. I'm suspecting that Apple's is pushing manufacturers to go wireless for iPad speakers. Here are the best choices: Option 1. The closest we can get to an iPad "speaker dock" is the iHome iW2 AirPlay Wireless Stereo Speaker System ( http://www.amazon.corn/gp/product/B005Y1DCXM ). This Henge Docks Gravitas iPhoneliPad Dock - Lightning (HDA02GRV-TAS) ( http://www.amazon.com/Henge-Docks-Gravitas-iPhone-iPad/dpB00HEOIJ7S/) would function as a dock with an audio out port in the back that could be plugged into an existing sound system. Option 3. Apple has Beats pill bluetooth speakers. These are essentially the same thing as the Jawbone Jambox portable speakers.
