He was calling to ask her to confirm info that he got from his source — namely, that "the government is meeting with Epstein on September 7th to discuss a plea to a lewd and lascivious conduct charge." responded that she wouldn't confirm anything because she was so angry that he had told Ken Starr that the FBI was the source of the information about Starr. The reporter responded that he absolutely did not tell anyone that the FBI was the source of the info because the FBI was not the source of the info. He also said that all he did was call Ken Starr's office for a comment, and Starr refused to speak with him. Based upon this, it sounds like the source is closely affiliated with Epstein. I would venture to guess that it is one of the pilots, but it could even be one of the attorneys.
